These terms are the agreement between you and Patch Pty Ltd (ABN pending — Brisbane, QLD) each time you book a letterbox drop, print run, or both. Booking a drop means you've read and accepted them.
"Drop" means one booked delivery run to the patches you picked at booking. "Proof report" means the GPS route, timestamps, coverage score and pickup photos we send after the run. Statuses (RECEIVED, CHECKED, PRINTING, PICKED UP, ON THE RUN, DELIVERED) are shown live on your dashboard and set your rights at each step.
The map price is calculated from estimated letterbox counts (about 520 boxes per km² in inner Brisbane). The final count and price are confirmed before you pay — what you pay is what the proof report reconciles against.
Payment is upfront, online. Every drop moves through visible statuses: RECEIVED → CHECKED → PRINTING → PICKED UP → ON THE RUN → DELIVERED. Cancel free while your drop is at RECEIVED. From CHECKED, a 15% cancellation fee applies. From PRINTING, it's 15% plus print costs already incurred. From PICKED UP, you can still call the run off — but the drop is non-refundable except as clause 06 provides.
You're responsible for what your flyer says: it must be lawful, honest, and carry your business name. We refuse (with a full refund) material that is misleading, discriminatory, adult, or that a reasonable householder would find offensive. Our call on borderline material is final, and you indemnify us against any claim, fine, or cost arising from your flyer's content.
Physical limits: up to A4, folded or flat, max 100g per piece. Anything outside that, ask first — most things are fine, we just need to plan the load.
If we print for you, we print your uploaded file exactly as supplied, at the size you selected. Confirming "this file is final" at upload is your print approval — there is no later proofing step, and no option to inspect or return printed stock. Once your drop is CHECKED, the file is locked.
Every booking gets a delivery date in writing at payment. We hold it except where delivery would wreck your flyers, endanger a walker, or is blocked by events genuinely outside our control — severe weather, natural disaster, government direction. If a run has to move, you hear from us before the scheduled day, with a new date no more than 72 hours after conditions clear. Miss that too, and clause 06 kicks in.
Every run is GPS-tracked and your proof report lands within 24 hours of the run finishing. At PICKED UP you get a photo of your printed stack — flyer legible on top — whether the stock came from our print partner or your door. Coverage is measured against deliverable letterboxes: unmarked, reachable boxes on your patch. "No junk mail" boxes are skipped — that's the law, and they're tallied separately on your report.
GPS is accurate to metres, not centimetres. A trace that hugs your streets is proof the walk happened; it is not a warranty that any single specific letterbox received a flyer. The GPS trace is the definitive record of a run, and coverage disputes must be raised within 7 days of your proof report landing.
If a run's verified coverage lands below 95%, we redeliver the shortfall within 5 business days at no charge — proactively, before you ask. If we can't redeliver in that window, the undelivered portion comes back as drop credit — or a refund where redelivery is genuinely impossible.
If we miss your committed date and the grace period of clause 04, you choose: a free re-run, or a refund of the drop. Remedies under this clause must be claimed within 14 days of your proof report (or the missed date). Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Print is billed at our print partner's rates, passed through with zero markup, and quoted live at booking. We print your uploaded file exactly as supplied — your "file is final" confirmation at upload is the approval of record. Colour on paper varies slightly from screens; that's printing, not a defect. If a batch comes off the press defective (wrong file, unreadable, damaged), we catch it and reprint free before the run — you never see the bad copies. Our print liability is capped at that reprint. Errors inside your confirmed file — typos, a wrong phone number — are yours.
Per-patch QR codes redirect through trypatch.com.au to your destination URL. Scan counts and per-patch breakdowns are yours; we keep redirects live for 6 months after your last drop — longer while your account stays active. Keep your destination URL working — we redirect, we don't host your site — and we can kill a redirect on the spot if the destination turns illegal, malicious, or misleading.
Flyer delivery is marketing, not magic: we guarantee the delivery and the proof, never your sales results. Beyond the remedies in clauses 06 and 07, our total liability for any drop is capped at the amount you paid for it. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Any claim must be brought within 12 months of the drop it concerns. Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply in full.
These terms are governed by Queensland law. If we change them, the version and date at the top change too, and material changes are emailed to active customers 14 days ahead — changes never apply retroactively to a paid booking. If a clause is found invalid, the rest stand. Questions: hello@trypatch.com.au.
